Ubooquity admin password bug
#1
Good evening.

I am running a linuxserver.io/ubooquity image from my docker container 17.09.1-ce on openmediavault 4.0.14-1 arrakis.

Everything is working like a charm, I have built a 10K e-book library, but I cannot establish ad admin password to access to the admin panel.

When I type the password, the page shows the spinning animation endlessly and if I refresh the page I am prompted to retype and set the administration password again.

I have checked that the webadmin.cred file is not created in the config folder.

Is it any way to fix this? Or could I generate the webadmin.cred file manually?

I have checked the PUID/PGID permissions and tried the password set in Chrome/IE/Firefox with no luck.

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

Regards.

I was looking for the solution and I got to an old post in this forum:

https://forum.linuxserver.io/thread-507....=ubooquity

I have exactly the same error.

I have tried to rebuild the image but I got to the same point. Everything works but I cannot access the admin page since the admin password file does not get generated, despite having read/write permissions on the docker folder.

I also have this issue.

So the solution for this is to go to the url without a trailing slash.

Correct:
localhost:2203/ubooquity/admin

Incorrect:
localhost:2203/ubooquity/admin/
