[Main Repo] [Support] Linuxserver.io - Sonarr

https://gitlab.com/spoatacus/sonarr-episode-trimmer

It solves an issue I have wanted for some time. Basically if you record "daily shows" this allows you to set a maximum number of shows and deletes "old" shows above that number. You can do this by hand but as the idea is to automate where possible, I found this very handy. I wish it was part of Sonarr. Hope this is useful for others.

Dave

This script works great for me when I run it outside of the container. However, I cant seem to execute automatically when things download. Any ideas? Everything else seems to work perfectly. Even when I test the script in the connections setting it says successful. I dont see anything in any log that says it is even attempting to run.

Running Sonarr and SAB in Docker on a Synology DS416Play.

Sonarr appears to be set up and running properly, except when I go to add tv shows, the above message is what I get. I know it's a permission issue of sorts, but I am not familiar enough with Linux to understand whats really going on.

Here's the pastebin:
https://pastebin.com/e4A5NM5z

When i SSH into the DS416 from my macbook, this is what I get:

just in case image doesnt load:  http://imgur.com/a/Erp9Y

Under the environment tab, I have PGID set to 100, and PUID set to 1024, and my TZ set to America/Detroit (im in Massachusetts)

Any help is greatly appreciated. I've searched the googles, but when you don't know what you're looking at because you don't understand the subject, solutions don't mean anything when they're right in front of you.

I am pretty quick at replying, so if you need more info or questions answered, I can probably get to them pretty quick.

Again, thanks in advance for any and all help!

Try creating a dedicated user for the docker container to run as rather than using admin, then make sure that user has R/W access to the folders you are mounting to the container.
Main: i5-3570k @ 4.0GHZ | 8GB Ram | 250GB SSD + 1TB HDD | EVGA 780 SC 6GB
Server: HP N54L | 8GB Ram | UnRAID v6.2.4 | 10TB Data [2x3TB+2x2TB] + 3TB Parity
RPi2 Model B 1GB: LibreELEC x2 / Wetek Hub: LibreELEC / DigiBit R1 Sat>IP Receiver

The only capital letters I'm using is PUID and PGID and I don't think those are the issue. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks,

You are missing an "-e" between "PUID=1000 PGID=1000" Smile

Yeahhh...that was the guide I used to install it. Dr Frankenstein and a friend of his have contacted me and are going to try and help me with it on the Synology forums (Re: Sonarr:Folder is not writeable by user nzbdrone) and are also rewriting the guides a bit...more info here:
