Hi,

I'm totaly new at this forum, but also at Docker and the various images. So please have mercy :-)
I know i'm not posting this in the correct thread, but i cannot seem to be able to make a new thread in the support section.

I like to use docker from within LibreElec to use my HTPC as a backup machine and a cloudserver.

I'm running LibreElec 8.2.1 on a AMD A6 HTPC. In this computer i have 4 HDD's.
1. a 160GB HDD running LibreElec and all configuration files
2. a 500GB HDD i place my daily backups of the complete system on with te backup-addon from within Kodi.
3. a 1TB HDD i use for al my ripped cd's
4. a 1TB HDD currently unused.

I installed docker and Duplicati, Nextcloud and later MariaDB from within the Kodi gui. They seem to be working, but i cant get the docker images to us my internal HDD's as sources. Since i'm totaly new to docker and even Linux for that matter im hesistant to use commandline options because im afraid to ruin things.

I like to use disk 3 to share my music across my family's devices and use it as cloudstorage for these devices. It would be nice if i could use disk 2 for this as well, but thats not necessary. I thought i could use Nextcloud for this, and read that i had to use MariaDB or similar because of speed and size.

Disk 4 would be my dessignated backupdrive for drive 3 (and possibly drive 2). Duplicati would do the trick, since i can set it up to do a daily incremental backup.

Can someone help me to set this up correctly, from within LibreElec and preferably with the images provided bij LinuxServer?

You can go to the addon settings in the kodi gui and change the paths to whatever you like

Hi Aptalca,

Thank you for your swift reply Smile.

I tried this with Duplicati. I pointed map/config to /var/media/drive 2,
map/backups to /var/media/drive 4,
and map/source to /var/media/drive 3.

then in the webgui from Duplicati i set destination to /backups/ and source data to /source/.
Duplicati now makes a backup from drive 1?! and puts it on drive 4. So the destination is correct, but the source is not.

What am i doing wrong?

Only thing I can think of is perhaps the /source is mapped to the wrong drive

Docker container will only have access to paths that are mapped. If you didn't map drive 1, it shouldn't be able to access it

Ok, i don't know how to map paths. I did the above in the addon settings in the kodi gui. Strange that drive 2 and 4 are found correctly and drive 3 isn't.

I feel bad posting in this thread, but I can't for the life of me find the new thread button anywhere. Maybe I don't have permission? I accidentally posted in a different section of the forum that wasn't support earlier not realizing there was this support forum, here is the post.

Hey guys, new poster here, but I've been using LS.IO images for months! They are seriously fantastic!

I am having trouble with the armhf version of the Organizr image, though I don't know where the problem lies, and I am reaching the end of my troubleshooting.

Basically on any arm device I run it on, any tab displays blank pages, for everything ever. The interface itself works great, but it doesn't display anything.

I have used this image (A few in the :30's and :latest) on:
Odroid HC1 (arm single board computer)
Raspberry pi 2/3
Orange Pi Zero

Code:
docker run -d \
 --name=organizr \
 --restart=always \
 -v /volumes/organizr/config:/config \
 -e PGID=1001 -e PUID=1001  \
 -p 81:80 \
 lsioarmhf/organizr

In no case does it ever work, and it is confounding me. I have used the x86_64 version with great success using docker on a mac, and on other linux servers. I only get this behavior on the armhf version. I don't know why.

Troubleshooting steps I have taken:
-Used older tagged images in armhf repo on dockerhub
-Used image on 3/4 arm sbc's I have, all display white pages when they shouldn't (portainer for example works fine on x86, with or without iframe)
-Checked chrome log output = nothing interesting
-Tried using localhost, docker container ip,server ip:port. When it is correctly resolved (localhost, 192.168.1.10:9000) the page just displays white, whether it be plex, portainer, deluge, anything. When it is incorrectly resolved, nginx error 404.
-Several usernames
-Pop in/pop out. no response, if I have it on pop out/no iframe, it doesn't spawn a new window.
-Checked docker logs. Nothing interesting, will post after this but it is just script output.
-Tried this image: https://hub.docker.com/r/lsioarmhf/organizr/ = not working on my machines
-Tried this image: https://hub.docker.com/r/lsiocommunity/organizr/ = working just super on mac
-Tried with 192.168.1.10:81 (port mapped to 81 because 80 is in use) = not working
-Tried with hostname:81 = still not working
-Tried with edge, firefox, chrome, same results.
-Put db (initial config) in /config/www and /config/db, not working

I'm really at a loss where this is going wrong :/ I feel like way back in the day with a full installation of ubuntu on a raspberry pi, maybe it worked, making me wonder if it is some feature missing on these stripped down arm computers (running hypriot OS, Armbian, dietpi), but in dockerland, none of that should matter, as the dependencies should be in the image.

I'd greatly appreciate any help here, or at least where to keep looking! I'm at a dead end :/

Thanks!

having an issue with your lsiodev/ombi-preview container... yes i know it's BETA

So I guess to connect to secure only plex servers using SSL you need to install the following package as per the ombi author:
Code:
libcurl4-openssl-dev

See https://github.com/tidusjar/Ombi/wiki/Common-Errors

Thanks!

Is there going to eventually be a thread created for your qBittorrent docker image? I installed it under Unraid 6.4.0 and am having issues getting my proxy login to work. I have been using qBittorrent under windows with the proxy for a few years now without issues. I verified that none of the torguard ports, 1080, 1085 or 1090 are used on Unraid and my firewall isnt set to redirect those ports to my windows box.

Edit: I ended up being able to fix this with setting up a random Torguard login. It would still be good to have a qBittorrent forum.

Hello Im new to using docker, but I have a problem updating nextcloud. I installed 12.04 about month ago, but I wasnt able to update it to 12.05 or 13.0 even with docker pull linuxserver/nextcloud and then rm -f docker and make a new one... I can clearly see that pull was done right and after docker inspect I can see

Linuxserver.io version:- 111 Build-date:- February-12-2018-15:59:43-UTC

so its ok, but when Im make a new nextcloud and go to webui and then to admin, I can see that I have still version 12.04 not 12.05 or 13...
Im on server version of ubuntu.
I dont have problem with other dockers from you, just this one.
